CHARACTERISTICS

BF-SMHC is a cartridge with a thin metallic mesh as a filtrating medium supported internally by a metallic perforated sheet and a drainage mesh, to allow backwashing an exterior sheet or a support steel ring may be added. The end caps may be glued, stapled or welded to the filtering structure based on the application and on the operating conditions of the client. A wide range of gaskets are available to ensure perfect fit into the line of production.
This is a very stiff cartridge, suitable for medium or high temperature applications and can be used in aggressive chemical environments if welded. It guarantees a very low pressure drop and it performs its best in low throughput conditions, by modifying the type of mesh we can also modify the filtering grade of the cartridge.
